Our history
Melrina Pty Ltd began in 1987, as a small boning room and carton meat trading facility operating out of Botany, Sydney. In 1990, our carton meat business grew to become ‘Australian Service Cold Store’, based in Lidcombe, NSW. Over the next decade, we gradually expanded to Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide.
In 2015, we started a new chapter when we established a new company – ‘Melrina Wholesale Meats (MWM)’. This company is a 50/50 joint venture between Melrina Pty Ltd and Teys Australia, which is the second largest meat processor and exporter in Australia. Through this partnership, we are now able to provide the Australian market with a greater supply of high-quality meat products than ever before.
