ABOUT MELRINA
Melrina Pty Ltd began in 1987 as a small boning room and carton meat trading facility operating out of Botany, Sydney. In 1990, our carton meat business expanded with the shift to the Australian Service Coldstore in Lidcombe. This move saw Melrina operate as a stand-alone carton meat wholesale business to the local community.
Throughout the 1990s, our services gradually expanded to the capital cities of Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. This evolution of the Melrina brand created a rise in demand for our quality meat products across the country. In 2007, we officially moved into our purpose-built facility located in Regents Park in NSW.
In 2015, the Melrina brand took the next step in its journey with the establishment of ‘Melrina Wholesale Meats (MWM)’. Melrina Wholesale Meats is a 50/50 joint venture between Melrina Pty Ltd and Teys Australia, which is the second-largest meat processor and exporter in Australia. This partnership allows us to provide the Australian market with a greater supply of premium meat products than ever before.
