Our Story

Melrina’s story began in 1987 as a small boning room and carton meat trading facility operating out of Botany in Sydney. Over the next two decades, we expanded into new locations in Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide as a stand-alone carton meat wholesale business and in 2007 moved into a purpose-built facility in Regents Park, NSW.

In 2015, we began a new chapter when we established a 50-50 joint venture with Teys Australia, the second-largest meat processor and exporter in Australia. Through this partnership, we are now able to provide the Australian market with a greater supply of high-quality meat products than ever before.

Now with over 30 years of experience in the Australian meat industry, Melrina Meat Wholesalers has a strong network with Australia’s largest and most well-known suppliers and producers.
